    Oh Man I love the Trinity Street display...it has been a tradition of East Van since I can remember. Maybe the City or the VPD could lend them some barricades for the duration...people are idiots, get out of your cars...there's hot chocolate and christmas goodies. Its a blast and proceeds go to good causes. I hope it stays

    People are idiots, why would you even want to see someting like this from your car, Your right, get out, get some exercise and SEE it. I hate to see the Christmas sprit ruined by A$$holes.

    That's too bad, it's looks very beautiful.

    We have Candy Cane Lane here in Edmonton and they do essentially the same thing, with bins for the Food Bank and charitable donations for the Christmas Bureau. They encourage everyone to walk, but sometimes the weather in Edmonton isn't amenable to walking outside for very long.
