I don't know what the big deal is, so a memo went out to all Tory MPs telling them to communicate a certain message to their constituents.

It means that people don't trust politicians, and that they they trusted the other parties even less than the Consevatives to be able to form a government. But sure lets have the Liberals who lost even more seats to all the other parties run a coalition government. . Dion's party wants to get rid of him and most Canadians think he's pathetic, why should he be allowed to be PM?

So what? Canadians need to know that these other parties are do desperate to keep their political welfare that they'll allie themselves with sepratists or the devil if it gets them closer to the purse strings.

actually its a very strong minority, I believe it was 12 seats shy of a majority, I think we need to allow our duly-elected government time to work, I think changing our government during this potentially troubling time would be a mistake.

Right on,time to do what's good for the country first.

Canada is not exempt from a global economic meltdown,we dont need another election right now and especially with Ed and Jean at the helm calling the shots.

I think most parties seen things like this out to the MP and members to get the message out. No big deal.

I agree. It's just a communications strategy. All parties, corporations and bureaucracies do it.
