Backup goaltender Curtis Sanford will never be mistaken for Roberto Luongo, but the Ontario native is certainly doing his best impersonation of the Vancouver Canucks stalwart.

I think it is a sign that Vancouver is a good team if they can win without Bobby Lou.

Hehe, love that pic. Tide should seriously running such a campaign. They could change it for particular cities. That pic for Vancouver, that pic for Calgary, replace Flames with Oilers for Edmonton, replace Flames with Leafs for Toronto, etc etc....

I am so please with Sanfords play thus far. Good on him for stepping up and doing a fine job. He withstood the Detroit barrage, I'm pretty confident in him now.

I used to live in Owen Sound when Sanford played for the Platers, and I always thought he was a great goalie, he always kept OS in the game, so I'm quite happy to see him doing well in the NHL.

Actually, Sanford was quite good last night. A couple bad give aways and penalties were more the issue than his play.

Did you see how bad Edler looked after that giveaway.......they gave the game away by not even being there for the first 5 minutes of the 3rd. As far as I'm concerned Sanford has been playing great.
