It must be for a few beers, since the Ducks don't have enough cap room to keep some of their better young players up with the parent club.

I think Mats is gonna be a bit dissapointed when he tries to hook up with another team. Since the financial meltdown even teams well under the salary cap aren't gonna want to pay the big bucks for a 37 year old player who's best days are in the past.

I will personally pay for his flight to Ottawa and even fly with him to make sure he makes it there...thats huge considering my sheer terror of flying

I hear ya Snook...I will lose my little mind if he signs with the Nucks and then cry from my jail cell

But there was no threat of getting rid of half the roster to make room for Bert and it's not like Sundin would accept to play for a mere couple million (although that's still too much IMO).
