Someone in your house have the sniffles? Watch out for the refrigerator door handle. The TV remote, too. A new study finds that cold sufferers often leave their germs there, where they can live for two days or longer.

All of our mouths are seeming beds of germs. Thats why there is a link between poor dental health and heart problems. Germs enter the blood stream through the gums and eventually adhere to the walls of the heart causing heart problems.

This health tip brought to you by Wasteland Survival Guide by Moira Brown, a book I helped research.

    Hotel room remotes, YUCK!!!

Apparently the comforters on a Hotel room bed are pretty scary also, ditch it next time you are away

I suggest covering the entire hotel room with at least 1 foot of plastic to properly protect yourself.

5 feet if its a motel room.

That's really stange because I remember doing swabs on doornobs in university and you could never get anything off of them.

I think when they say doorknobs they mean the things you open doors with, not room-mates.

Ahh, that would explain why they didn't talk to me for more than a month
