Did 'Family Guy' Go Too Far With Nazi 'McCain' Pin?

The animated sitcom 'Family Guy' is no stranger to controversy, but on Sunday night the show went into uncharted territory as it seemed to weigh in on the presidential race by likening the McCain/Palin ticket to the Nazi party in World War II.

Nobody's safe from Family Guy. Why should McPoo get a pass?

Family Guy can't go too far. That's why it's good TV.

Can be seen in many ways:

    1) a jab at McCain/Palin
    2) a jab at some peoples views about McCain/Palin

    are just 2 different possibilities.

The Simpsons did the same to pretty much everyone too. If anything McCain should be happy he got on Family Guy.

As they say, any publicity, even bad publicity, is still publicity.

It is all in good fun unless someone takes it seriously. It might reinforce some bad stereotypes, but whatever. I think I'll let it pass.

Family Guy, South Park, The Simpsons all do something offensive to somebody. Majority of which comes from South Park, than Family Guy than The Simpsons.

But everybody always gets over it, it's just a cartoon show. I remember family guy, or was it south park that even made fun of that muslim situation where they got offended by a cartoon of there profit mohammad and I diddn't hear any bitching about that one, suprisingly.

I think South Park had Al Gore in an episode. It's all good fun.

Family Guy is TV for morons. Most people sorta grow out cartoons by the time they reach 6.

I think cartoons like Family Guy is part of the problem with society today. The Simpsons used to have a lot of controversy when they first aired, but in comparison with today's "entertainment" they make the Simpsons look like the Cosby Show.

Does that mean you're 5 years old? I mean, you do have Yosemite Sam for your avatar, you know the cowboy from the Looney Tunes cartoons? Or does that put you in the other category ? :?
