OTTAWA - Canadians might have problems sending their holiday greeting cards this year if Canadian postal workers, who voted 88 per cent in favour of a strike mandate, follow through and walk off the job in November.

This won't have anywhere near the effect it would have had when I was a child. Hell, the only think I get through the mail now is flyers. Everything else is online.

Exactly. All this means for me anyway, is no junk mail and crooked loan offers from Citibank.

These clowns haven't figured it out yet??? They can't hold the country hostage anymore. They don't have any power anymore! Everything is or can be done online. Cheques can be direct-deposited. That was always the 'big stick' postal workers used to wield. I've always wondered if 'their' paycheques were sent to them in the mail, if they would be so quick to strike!
