Was there not an attempt at Obamas life a while back? I read it in the news a month ago I believe.

That was a farce, those guys were not at all interested in Obama. It was all about drugs and it just happen they cought them during the DNC.

I think some local PD were a little to hopeful.

I think it could start a race war in the United States... and honestly I think that is what some of these white supremist are hoping for.

Since every other US President that's been assassinated has been white, I don't think it will neccesarily be a racially based assassination attempt. It'll more likely be a politically driven assassination.

If I was Obama, I'd be more concerned about someone who just lost his job on Wall St, than on someone who just lost his job at WalMart.

Why do we even care what Castro says. The US is a melting pot of every culture on the planet. I don't see racialy motivated riots anywhere in the US,yet I see them all over Europe.

LA riots? The mexican scare, real or not, is the talking point on most non mainstream, and by that I mean non conglomerate radio & tv shows, in the U.S. I personally listen to manny of them.

France has racial clashes almost monthly.

That's an exageration. "Racial clashes" of the same proportion exist in the U.S even though the LA riots were in the earlie 90's.

And I'm pointing to parallels in the U.S society. What's your point? Just becuas france had their LA riots in 2006 doesn't mean integration is any worse than in the U.S. You'll have to dig a bit more.
