    Actually, what the CMA says is this:

    The CMA has released "staggering" new data which predict that air pollution will claim the lives of 21,000 Canadians this year, including more than 2,500 who will die because of "acute, short-term exposure."

    That's 21,000 - not 2,700 as claimed by the NP.
    The 21,000 deaths is not mentioned once in the NP story.

    Way to twist the truth, National Post!

    Gee, the CMA tells only the truth ?
    Who knew ? They sure don't when there's a malpractise issue.
    Maybe the CMA might consider letting Romanian or Ethiopan doctors
    treat some of these smog victims, between their cab-driving shifts ?
    Naaahhh...
