Campbell, B.C. ministers getting big pay hikes

Good thing he's not in Alberta otherwise the shit would really hit the fan.

They're Liberals it's okay.

They ain't Liberals. They're SMART Conservatives.
Stole green votes from the NDP with a carbon tax and now there's money to give themselves a raise.
Let them win again and they'll privatize BC Hydro. And step down to end up on the Boards of the new outfits with a big fat salary plus a big MLA fat pension. Just watch and learn.....

Must be awesome to be in government. You get to give yourself raises.

This is not only BC ministers, most politicians anywhere often vote to give themselves raises.

It would be funny to see if some amongst them actually voted ''Nay'' during the voting session.

That is like comparing Canadian Conservatives to American Democrats..CC are further to the left.

That Pay seems in line with National payrates, but very high compared to some of the Wages US Politicians get(from what I recall which maybe is inaccurate/old)
