In BC you can insure a motorcycle without having motorcycle endorsement. The idea is that mommy might insure it for her kiddies.. Of course it's illegal to ride without a licence and you will get huge insurance penalties but ICBC still gets the money.

Eh...why the fuck would anybody be stupid to sign up for insurance when you don't even have a license? I think if you won't do one, you're most likely too lazy to do the other.

And this is news............how. ICBC has been selling vehicle insurance to people not legally allowed to drive since the whole corporation came into exhistance.

There are alot of reasons to insure your vehicle even if you can't legally drive. For example it doesn't mean that others with licenses can't drive it, or you'd like to park it on the street, which means you need it insured. How about fire and theft?

The problem with this policy is that it tempts idiots, like this gentleman to drive when legally not allowed to. Like they say ignorance of the law is no excuse so tough luck buddy, all the whinning in the world isn't going to mitigate your ignorance nor stupidity.

The most beautiful country you have ever seen, the most friendly people I have ever met, no crime AT ALL where I live, cheap gas in the States, I don't have to lock my doors (not front door, nor car doors) and I have neighbours who watch out for eachother.

BC is larger than just the lower mainland, don't forget that. ;-)
