Dion is said to have told his MPs at yesterday's caucus meeting that with the economy deteriorating and Conservatives' fortunes waning in the polls, the summer will present an opportunity for Liberals to put their own vision on the table.
yeah its off his agenda cause he knows he could not win one , the reality is if the liberals could not go up in the polls after all that bad press for the conservatives nothing could improve there standing in the polls . so the liberals sit back and wait cause they don't know what else to do . mean its beter than losing an election that they cannot even fund to begin with .

Not unless Dion brings the government down Remember the Canada Elections Act was amended in the first session of this Parliament. Barring the fall of the Government, by the provisions of the Act, the election will be held on 19 October 2009.

It'd be my guess we'll never see an election as long as Stephan the grand remains Liberal Leader.
i sometimes wonder as well if were ever see a general election with dion as liberal leader . it seems like the liberals keep trying to avoid this every time there is a vote in the house or a chance to force one

Which will likely be somewhere around the time hell freezes over.

As soon as the Liberal Party of Canada can raise enough money to rent a hall.
Which will likely be somewhere around the time hell freezes over.
the thing is its not that easy to just remove a leader of a major political party . its actually tough unless they decide to step down themselves
look to john tory as an example of how hard it can be to do this
