With a disloyal party, apathetic voters and a famous dog, Liberal leader Stphane Dion seems like a match for, hmmm Canada's longest-serving PM?

    Dion's position grows weaker daily. Watching him plead/demand party discipline in public (on tv) just shows how really weak he is.

    Mackenzie King he 'aint.

    But I'm all for him remaining the Leader of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition. He makes Harper look really good!

    Dion has mandated discipline. He is already a kind of king. No relation with the grandson of the rebel leader William Lyon Mackenzie.

    The Red Star should check the latest poll in Quebec

    For francophones, who comprise about 85 per cent of Quebec voters, support breaks down this way:

    * Bloc: 35 per cent
    * Tories: 30 per cent
    * Liberals, NDP: Tied at 15 per cent

    A key region is Quebec City, the so-called 418 region. The news for the Liberals there is even worse:

    * Tories: 41 per cent
    * Bloc: 25 per cent
    * NDP: 17 per cent
    * Liberals: 14 per cent

    The NDP is beating him in his home town :lol:

    King was a mild-mannered fatty man, a devout Christian, a compromiser/conciliator, and very superstitious.
