American woman abducted in Afghanistan

Gunmen abducted a burqa-clad American aid worker and her driver while they were driving through a residential section of southern Afghanistan's largest city early Saturday, a provincial governor said.

She did not travel with armed guards, he said.

Likely was nervous around firearms and thought them too radical.

She is currently being re-educated.

Pearle made the same error.
