Actually there are a number of ridings where the Conservatives were in controvention of election Canada rules and this is a serious matter. If this whole thing boils over, there could be charges and should they be found guilty there are stiff penalties. You can be fined and jailed in addition, the person can be expelled from their seat and forbidden to run for five years or more, an eternity in politics. Slow season for scandals or not, this thing could become big news as the days and weeks continue

i agree this barely counts as anything major by any standards and from short artilce all they were accused of doing was excepting donation from landlord who rented office to them .

at most a minor mistake but nothing major my any standards .

That all being said, if it's wrong, it's wrong, and the guy should be made to repay it.

how is it with you tories that when its the opposition parties any thing is major.. when its one of your crooked cronies its not a problem... hmmm birds of a feather they say.. a crook is a crook is a crook...
