Karzai utterly rejects Liberal Afghan policy

Karzai spoke of the need to continue fighting terrorism "head on," while his foreign minister and parliamentary house leader emphasized the need for the Canadian Forces to stick to their primary purpose in Kandahar - fighting the Taliban insurgency.

I really hope that the Afghan government can pursuade the Liberals to call for a mission extension if not an overall increase in the number of personelle over there. Even if we can't put any more boots on the gorund, I'd love to see our F-18s, Griffons, and more Hercs out there. WOuld be a great moral boost for our troops to be supported by our air force.

And I know the argument behind the Griffon, but I trust that when a person directly involved with them says they can fly there, that they can fly there.

This amusing! Today on question period Dion presented a much different picture although he was his usual evasive self-------IGGy is not so good and actor.

Some "fact finding mission".............first stop go and tell Karzai what their final decision was before they even looked. Did they give Dion a helmet to wear backwards.

seems to be that the liberals went over there to tell canada what to do , not offer a suggestion as to what should be done to help the situation . sounds like someone likes to remember there only in opposition now.
