Multiple campgrounds that were closed in a B.C. park due a food-habituated bear last week will remain closed through the weekend.

    These are not "problematic" bears, as the article calls them. They are just bears that people have fed, either intentionally or not, that have made them realize where the good free food is. It pisses me off how often bears are killed due to human incompetence.

    Yeah train an animal to expect food then be surprised when they expect food. It doesn�t matter if they are cute little things or large they are still wild animals and can do damage.

    And Bears can do a lot of damage. I also blame Disney for unreal portrayals of animals.

    I say shoot the fucking bear.
    I just spent the morning fixing my fence .

    Easier than training the bears to be nuisances Mon-Fri from 9-5 when the Conservation Officers work.
