Can we put some sort of clause in there about subtracting the amount available, equal to the amount of harm done to the Canadian economy by groups identifying themselves as indigenous?

Perhaps some of these programs can help bridge the gap and make more people embrace Canada, and then work toward making it better.

    No.

However, if you are a good boy they just might let you marry into the tribe.

How about dumping the Indian act, it doesn't work and never will.

Give them NOTHING. Tired of governments throwing more of our money at them, when all they do is turn around and screw us for more.

The solution is simple: Get rid of reservations, give them the same status as every other Canadian, let them live wherever they want, and have them pay taxes like the rest of us. They can be equals in this fashion, or they can stay where they are and rot.

How much will the Government be investing to fix this:

In the same week we learned the Federal Court certified a $1.1 billion class-action suit alleging the leadership of the RCMP fostered and condoned an environment of intimidation, harassment and bullying over many years, we have also watched the absolute decline of law and order across the country as the left-wing liberal loons have shut down rail lines, legislatures, city halls, bridges, intersections across the country with apparent impunity.

As long as it is the identified illegal blockaders who are refused funding. All the FNs in support of the Costal Gaslink are also being held hostage by the masked punks and thugs on the blockades.

I thought some people just didn't know HOW to make things better. Now I know they don't WANT to.
They'd rather feel the joy of charging a crowd on a horse, swinging their billy club, oinking and squealing as the go....

Could someone explain to me why we as taxpayers should be flushing even more money down the perpetual rabbit hole that's overseen by the corrupt and criminal native leadership?

We give and for the past 70 years have given the natives one hell of alot of money and now Trudeau is on the cusp of giving them even more with no accountability which is tantamount to pouring gasoline on the fire that is native entitlement.

The first set of data is the spending incurred by the federal department of
Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC), known
for most of its history as the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern
Development. Some incomplete data exists dating back to Confederation,
but in order to compare spending on Aboriginal matters with total federal
program spending, the data in this report begins in 1946/47 and continues
to 2011/12. Per person comparisons date from 1949/50, given the first
    relevant census year of 1949.

? The increase in spending on Canadas Aboriginal peoples has been
significant. In real terms, department spending on Canadas Aboriginal
peoples rose from $79 million annually in 1946/47 to almost $7.9 billion in
    2011/12.

? Using census data and adjusting for population, Aboriginal/Indian Affairs
spending increased from $922 per registered First Nation individual in
1949/50 to $9,056 in 2011/12. That constitutes an 882 percent rise in
    spending per First Nations person

? In comparison, total federal program spending per person on all Canadians
    rose by 387 percent, from $1,504 in 1949/50 to $7,316 in 2011/12

I was a little surprised that the natives spending increase was much more than any other Canadian citizens over that lengthy period of time yet, it apparently still isn't enough to quell the anti Canadian antics by a vocal minority. So, the question becomes, when is enough enough because all we're doing by giving this corrupt leadership is making them rich at our and their constituents expense.

So until the gov't can ensure that the rank and file natives get the money that we're already paying them I don't think it's a great idea to start giving their leadership even more money to spend on themselves.

There will never be a time where enough is enough. If anything this latest "program" announced by our government will just cost Canadian taxpayers even more money and will continue to do so for... well, forever.

The sad thing is that no amount of money or apologies or tears shed by our leadership will EVER erase history. The problem is the lack of willingness to put the past behind and move forward and it seems that this will never happen.
