I don't particularly like Bernie or his communist ideas but at least the man had the courage to come out with the truth and tell people on the left what they didn't want to hear and for that I applaud him.

So, let the caterwauling begin because our problems basically can't be solved by cutting emissions and destroying economies especially since they have everything to do with overpopulating a finite resource which is our planet. A place that can't support all of us no matter how far the environmentalists think they can drive us back into the stoneage.

Unfortunately Bernie spilling the beans publicly doesn't fit into alot of peoples plans and will likely cost him the Dem's nomination if not something worse.

Thing is, we will reduce our population eventually... whether we want to or not.

This is why climate activists are such bullshit artists. They rarely bother to tell the truth about what needs to be done. They just skirt around the issue with their windmills & solar panels nonsense, like that's even fucking remotely close to a real and permanent solution. The planet ain't gonna make it much farther with this many people on it and adding more population every year just moves judgement day that much closer. Not that it's politically realistic to talk about this anywhere, thanks to the death-grip religion and it's "be fruitful and multiply" bullshit has on the human mind, but the total world population should be about two-thirds of what it is today.

All kind of irrelevant to talk about but what needs to be done ain't ever going to happen. Space travel isn't going to happen either, not that humanity even remotely deserves the right to go to other planets and turn them into the same garbage heaps we've turned this world into. The end fate is to, after we've wiped out most of the other living creatures of this world, is to die from suffocating in our own poisonous filth. Unless something really radical comes to change things and correct the course this ending is all but inevitable now.

As for Bernie's comments, well, it won't be the first or last time a politician ends up in trouble from inadvertently speaking the actual truth out loud.

What bothers me is the Rights reaction. Poor Countries automatically equate to "Brown People" I am sick of this knee jerk from the Right it is as bad as the knee jerk from the Left of "White" equals racist.

He's going to use his Llama powers and change to a different reality where people give a shit about their environment.

    (I assume)

Behavioral Sink is super interesting. I can see parallels in Universe 25 to modern society.

I read it, and then I read more about Dr. Calhoun, his work was very interesting and controversial for it's time.
