They have arrested him and now we wait for the questioning. From what I saw on the press conference they showed a few hours ago the victims were of various ages, genders, and backgrounds.
I am thinking this is a situation of a young man, with troubles in general, who somehow got a hold of a weapon he never should have been in possession with and created mayhem to make some kind of point, if only in his own mind.
Also there are claims of twitter posts saved by Antifa.
The manifesto claims support for the Christchurch killer and what they're calling "the great replacement theory" which claims non-Europeans will overwhelm European cultures and the white race by immigration and superior numbers of childbirths.
The Antifa tweets are anti-immigration, a dislike of both political parties but support for Trump's efforts to build a wall.
�Even if other non-immigrant targets would have a greater impact, I can�t bring myself to kill my fellow Americans.� The manifesto writer said he supported the Christchurch shooting citing the �Great Replacement� anti-immigration theory postured there. The writer says that his hatred of immigrants predate Trump so �don�t blame� the president.

Heavy called and left two messages with the FBI El Paso field office spokesperson Jeanette Harper Saturday afternoon to get confirmation of law enforcement�s investigation into the manifesto allegedly written by Crusius.
But CNN wrote, ��investigators are reviewing an online writing posted days before the shootings that may speak to a motive.�
By evening, the FBI forensically confirmed that the document was created at 1 a.m. and uploaded less than half an hour before the shooting, it was reported.
The FBI saw the post but not only didn�t have enough time to act, they didn�t know where the attack was set to occur.
