Relax, it's just more "nice weather" as the deniers like to call it.

I'm in Calgary... but an aquatic bunker is a great idea, more protection from fallout.

One in a lake with secret access. Woohoo.

No. That's bad weather. Why? Have you never seen bad weather before?

Surely you're not suggesting all inclement weather is CAGW forced? That would be dumb. The West Coast had a hurricane (typhoon actually) in the 60s when C02 levels were low. Was that Global Warming? I've seen snow in July long before anybody ever heard of global warming.

You're going to have to find somebody who hasn't lived long enough to see bad weather before if you want to sell the idea that it's all about the global warming.

Anyway, Toronto should relax. Want some pointers from the Wet Coast?

You should see what happens here in a snow storm. Speaking as a northerner it's kind of entertaining watching them try to drive.

It is more nice weather with up to 60mm of rain reported in places but not as much as Toronto had in October 1954 (254mm) and it's not as much as 2013 (100mm).

    In other words...

    :D

    I agree.

I often laugh at my family in Boston where they all but declare martial law if there's more than a foot of snow.

Meanwhile in California when people hear there will be thirty feet of snow in the mountains from one storm everyone gets amped and grabs their snowboards and heads for the slopes.

Oh, and while Boston grinds to a halt with a mere foot of snow we rarely ever close our roads even for a 30' event.

There's this really weird phenomena I've noticed only in Vancouver and the surrounding area.

If it's been real dry for awhile then all of a sudden it starts pouring rain it seems like everybody in the VRD has to jump in their car and start to drive.

Surely I'm not the only one who's noticed this. It's weird.

I just got this hilarious image in my head of lemmings jumping in their little cars in a rain storm. Mama lemming unfolding her little map, putting on her little specs, demanding Papa lemming just ask directions to the cliff.
