If there was any evidence that Juul and products like it need to be regulated like tobacco, this should be it.

As a Juul owner, I'm not sure how I feel about this.

As an adult owner, you probably shouldn't care. Most health professionals say that Vaporizers are an order of magnitude better than smoking tobacco. They aren't 'safe' by any means, but they are better.

But for kids, they are far from safe. I was listening to CBC 'Alberta at Noon' last week, and they were discussing Juul and Kids. A highschooler called in, and had an interesting story.

The grade 12's will buy Juuls, and 'juice', and sell these to younger grades, as young as Grade 7's.

So, regulate Juul and juice. Take it off the counter, but it behind a cover, like cigarettes. It's already illegal to sell these to under 18's, so it's time to enforce it.

I hope you think next time before you accuse someone of being an "Adult".

Yup. That's why the age limit is 21 in most provinces. I think that's too low. 25 appears to be when the young brain is fully developed, and less likely to develop side effects from cannabis use.

I think the main motivation for putting a shit ton of tax on tobacco is to not only reduce people's ability to buy it, but to put it out of the price range of children and even young adults. That has the desired effect of reducing health costs, in the long term.

With the idea of public health in mind, I think protecting a kids' mental health from possible life altering side effects would be more important. Just my 2 cents.

If you are like me, past your prime, have lots of discretionary cash; go nuts! Vape. Drink. Smoke pot. Tear the tags off your mattresses. Fill your boots!

I just bought one, it cost me $68 bucks. It's 20 for the refills. You should never tear the tag off a mattress. That's how you summon Cthulhu.
