    The old tales.

Then said Gangleri: "Where dwelt Ymir, or wherein did he find sustenance?"
Hrr answered: "Straightway after the rime dripped, there sprang from it the cow called Auumla; four streams of milk ran from her udders, and she nourished Ymir."

Then asked Gangleri: "Wherewithal was the cow nourished?"
And Hrr made answer: "She licked the ice-blocks, which were salty; and the first day that she licked the blocks, there came forth from the blocks in the evening a man's hair; the second day, a man's head; the third day the whole man was there. He is named Bri

And then Odin. I always wondered why there were so many stories about Odin, but Ymir and Buri are forgotten.

Odin fulfilled his promise to kill all the ice giants.

You're just bitter because HE killed the ice giants, and you didn't. It's OK big guy, you'll get your chance. :P

Not to be picky but being a cow wouldn't that be a "her" or, have cattle decided to go gender fluid like the millennial's?

He was too big to go into the export plants chain, Geoff Pearson, the owner, told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). We have a high turnover of cattle, and he was lucky enough to stay behind.

Edit: Most cattle destined for meat are male.

I understand it to be a steer. Steers being neutered males. So calling it a cow was lazy reporting.
