The Trudeau government is ramming through its plan to boost immigration levels, despite survey after survey showing that Canadians oppose this idea.An Angus Reid poll from August 2018 found that half of Canadians want lower immigration compared to only 6%

In plain English here's what voters who want four more years of Butts/Trudeau/Hussein will be voting for:

"The federal government announced Wednesday that Canada will increase its immigration intake by 2021, accepting 350,000 individuals in a single year.

The announcement, made by Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen, comes as part of a three-year immigration plan."

I always wondered why he was so desperate to get that Security Council seat that he'd completely disregard the wishes of the majority of Canadian voters and allow the UN to cram hundreds of thousand third world "refugees" on us but, it becomes more and more apparent everyday.

With the UN attempting to EU the entire world by subtly imposing a "one world gov't" whether people object or not, it becomes quite apparent that if you're not at the head table when they succeed you'll be left out in the cold and will just be one of the vassal states who are on the receiving end of any edicts by the new masters.

So, Trudeau's gambling that this attempt at world unification will be successful and Canada, with him as PM will be one of the lucky ones giving the orders, not taking them.

And apparently he's not the only one who's thinking this way.

Do you have any idea about what my or anyone else's qualifications are or are you just trying to illicit a reaction through your backhanded and inaccurate insults?

Try this it's the CBC so you know it's got to be true. :P

Jean-Nicolas Beuze of the UN Refugee Agency says while he doesn't know what the number should be, he believes Canada should be accepting more than 10,000 refugees each year.

"When you see that Canada needs 310,000 newcomers every year, to only have 10,000 them drawn from the refugee pool begs some questions," said Beuze, the agency's representative in Canada.

Beuze, who is visiting New Brunswick to explore the Atlantic immigration program, said Canada has the best possibility and willingness of citizens to receive more refugees.

"Last week, there was a report, a poll that indicated Canadians want Canada to do more for refugees," he said. "It's their priority number one. Ten years ago it was about peacekeeping, maintaining peace throughout the world."

Last year, according to the Canadian Council for Refugees, only 7,500 government-assisted refugees were accepted into Canada, a decrease from the average number a year in the first 15 years of this century.

    Welcoming country
Beuze said many Canadians want to profile their country and their society as welcoming for refugees.

"We really believe that there's room for improvement in terms of those extremely vulnerable cases who can come here."

A person with disabilities, for example, would have more opportunity to build a life in Canada than in a refugee camp, he said.

"If you are a disabled child in a refugee camp in Tanzania, I can tell you, you don't go to school, you probably don't even move from your plastic sheeting tent," Beuze said.

    Political will
The UN Refugee Agency, also known as UNHCR, has a mandate to help displaced people, provide relief and help resettle them, either in their home countries or elsewhere

Beuze said he believes the reluctance to allow more refugees into Canada is based on politics, despite the enthusiasm he finds for the refugee program wherever he visits, including New Brunswick.

"This country is based on immigration," he said. "This country is based on multiculturalism, multi-religions. And people really value the fact that bringing newcomers through the refugee path is of added value to their society."

There are questions about the right number of refugees to allow, he said, but political leaders who show courage on humanitarian and ethical principles and favour increasing the number will benefit.

Some people are anti-refugee, anti-immigration, anti-foreigner, Islamophobic, anti-Semitic, homophobic and so on, he said.

"The list is long very long unfortunately," Beuze said.

"We have one-third who are completely passionate and want to do more and their countries to do more, and we have this one set that is in the middle."

But he believes the middle group can be persuaded to move toward favouring more refugees, especially since they have talent and expertise that are needed in Canada and in provinces such as New Brunswick.

"They should be seen as economic agents, people who will be studying, people who will be integrating as any other newcomer."

Except that's not exactly true because Canadians have some caveats about immigration.

So given that Trudeau wants to bring even more of these refugees into Canada including the irregular ones, the question becomes who is he listening to because it sure isn't the people of Canada. And if he isn't listening to the people who pay his salary he must be listening to someone else and that other entity has to be the UN who, are foisting refugees on Canada because they know that Trudeau will acquiesce to any request they make.

I guess Europe must be full.

As for the one world gov't there's alot of people who have wanted it other than Soros so saying that saying things like that make people mail bombs is inaccurate because if it was they'd have been mailing bombs because of Harry Truman.

Here's a list of people and organizations who advocated for a single world gov't or something similar.

Theres nothing in what you posted that says the UN is cramming anything anywhere

And Canadians generally support immigrants and accepting refugees. Opinion has only barely tipped against it for the very first time this year due to the irregular border crossing hysteria.

And nowhere does it say Trudeau wants to bring in more irregular border crossings.

Your propensity for jumping to far-fetched conclusions is exceeded only by your propensity for over-the-top rhetoric

Roughly 50% of the work age immigrants that come here are completely unemployable. They have no discernible work skills, no knowledge of either of our languages and in many of those cases, they are also illiterate in their own language.

But here's the thing. I thought we had a housing crisis in Canada. If the average Canadian is finding it hard to find an affordable place to live, how is cramming another 350,000 people every year going to alleviate the problem for anyone?

There's also this thing called the 1% rule when in it comes to migration to welfare states. As you approach 1% intake of your total population, the gap between benefit and cost gets smaller and smaller. Once you're over 1% intake, the costs of immigration begin to outweigh the benefits.

There has to be a purpose to immigration other than to simply suck the UN's dick.
