Swiss cow feed fights global warming by cutting flatulence in livestock

The United Nations says livestock farming alone is responsible for up to 18 percent of the greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming. Nearly a quarter of that comes from bovine flatulence.

    I see no problem with this at all. We know what methane does. We know farming cows causes it. I love my meat, and so do you. So, it's an awesome thing that this company has done. Everyone wins. This is THE example of technology overcoming adversity so we can keep living how we live without destroying the planet.

    From the CBC, Sept 6 2018:

    An unusual amount of ice and a swamped coast guard made Arctic shipping more difficult than usual this year, according to Rayes. He told CBC that he was recently on a morning phone briefing with Canadian Coast Guard representatives, and that the agency said it is "busy everywhere� they don't have enough boats to provide the level of service required."


    This just in from a secret, Liberal government facility in the Canadian Arctic.

    Right, because your advanced degree in climate dynamics, with a minor in physics and meteorology tells you methane has no effect on our atmosphere's ability to retain heat.

    Cows aren't the only cause, but they contribute. The same way drinking 4 cans of coke isn't making you fat by itself, but in conjunction with the box of twinkies, 3 chocolate bars, and 6 meals you eat a day it adds up, so you reduce your calories where you can.

    There you go making false equivalencies again.

    Lysenkoism was a state run propaganda campaign. It wasn't subjected to global scrutiny by the scientific body at large.
