Yes! Because: Escalating China-U.S. trade war an opportunity for Canadian LNG

Unless we now need Trump's permission to export anything to China??

That's why I disliked NAFTA from the beginning. Equals can have trade agreements. The US and Canada are not equals.

The US's Lebensraum will not happen through armed occupation, it'll come from stupid agreements by our idiot leaders. We'll slowly surrender our sovereignty piece by piece until they firmly control everything. Manifest Destiny will finally be realized.

Just a client state now, no different than the old Warsaw Pact countries were. Toe the official line and keep the overlord happy or else.

    No, because it IS pipeline.
That will carry OUR gas across OUR land to OUR port with very little risk. With the agreement of everyone along the way.

So roll your eyes all you like at apples vs oranges.

No pipeline under Canadian ownership has been approved.

What pipeline is being built that you think you own?

Forget about KM? That took a bite out of everyone's pocketbook.
And if you want to get to the sticky, we (gov't of BC or any other) don't actually own the gas or the port either. Just like Alberta doesn't own the oil you bitch about.
Private companies do. Gov't just get to tax and regulate it.
Almost every roadblock to the gas pipeline's approval is taken care of.

But if you're one of those who think making someone else's life more difficult because yours is will make you feel better, you can align yourself with the Greens. They're willing to commit hari kari on principles and ensure it will get built.
