The language is unusually strong for Ahmed Hussen, who speaks often about Canadas 'strict and efficient immigration and border-control system'

A simple solution would be to setup a "kangaroo" court. Have every aslyum seeker immediately seen by a judge. If the case has merit, you can stay. If not, you get a free ticket home. Set an absolute limit of yearly asylum seekers, and anyone past that number, sorry, we aren't the world's homeless shelter, home you go.

A better solution might be to simply call the whole border crossing an entry point. Then when you catch a border jumper you can simply boot him back to America by the safe third country agreement. Others have suggested this.

Another thing that could be done is if we are taking asylum seekers take the ones most in need. Yazidis, Druze, Christians in zones targeting them for attack or white South African farmers - these sorts have legitimate well-known claims. Muslims already living and working in places like Lebanon and Turkey but favored by corrupt refugee agencies, UN and other, don't.

Agreed. If you need asylum from the USA, you're doing something wrong. :)
Refugee or not, we still need to prioritize what we need over burdens. Educated refugee from country X vs goat herder from country y?

Just open your borders and let everyone in. Immigration is a human right, don't you know?

Not sure anyone has ever claimed that. Freedom to travel is listed under the UN. Not freedom to go to any country you want and do whatever you want while there and get the benefits of that place for free.

    R=UP

Although, a few judges wouldn't be able to vet all the information on these people in such a short period of time. So, unfortunately alot of the information wouldn't be available to them immediately and we've all seen the horror stories that surfaced after some of these people were granted asylum or citizenship.

So, wouldn't it be better to say. "if your case has merit you can stay till you're properly vetted" but "we reserve the right to revoke your citizenship at any time if you actions or past history warrant it".

I agree that would be more "fair". But honestly, immigration isn't about fair. It's cold as hell, but we shouldn't be obligated to take care of the world's downtrodden. We can't afford to. So, come, give it your best shot in the kangaroo court, and if you can't make your case, sorry. Either we send you home on a plane, or maybe we let you take a job in some northern mining town for the next 20 years that no one else wants but we actually need.

In The Anarkey, there are no rights. There are only common interests.

OTTAWA The number of human traffickers making money off of human misery at the expense of the tax-payers of Canada is rising far beyond what the existing system can handle, according to a recent letter from Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen obtained by the National Post.
    Fixed!

The Question: "Mr. Minister, who is bringing these poor people into our country?? and why are you not pursuing them?????????????????"

Christ dude. Don't go citing some fringe group to backup your belief that actual elected governing bodies believe immigration is a human right.

    Okay.

Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., isnt on the fringe of the Left. He is the second ranking member of the Democratic National Committee and he basically wears his immigration policy on his sleeve. More specifically, the No. 2 Democrat wore a T-Shirt that literally said I dont believe in borders.

And Mexico's incoming 'El Presidente' also says this:

    https://thepoliticalinsider.com/mexico-mass-migration/

At a rally last week, Obrador called illegal immigration to the United States a human right,

You're doing it again... If citing 1 congressman constitutes an "elected governing body", you could cite all the crazy BS Trump has shat out his mouth and claim that's the official law of the USA.
