This fourth incarnation of a team assembled to defend the maple leaf is one fans are eagerly anticipating after two less successful relaunches in the past 20 years.

Nothing new here at all. Marvel pulls this bullshit all the time because they can score a one-time big cash-in with every "Issue #1 Spectacular!" they put out. And going by the new release shelf, there must be at least twenty new "Issue #1" s every month.

Unless they put a hot writer/artist team on this version of Alpha Flight it'll tank out just as quickly as the other three incarnations did.

What about the ones in print now that are Canadian, most notably Wolverine and Deadpool?
