To the best of my knowledge the Canucks can keep any players they have drafted or any players signed as free agents. Aside from that they have completely lost the Moose which are therefore replaced by the Wolves.

Players who are the property of the Canucks, ie draft picks such as Cody Hodgson, and any free agents signed by the Canucks. Any player still under contract to the Canuck organization will be moving to Chicago. Players under contract to the Manitoba Moose organization will move with the Moose.
