If these little crittens did that to one of my loved ones I'd give em a boat ride into the deep Bayou.

Then the law could do their justice thing. And I would have had my justice.

What kind of pressure could the lawyers have put on these two? I'm thinking maybe the story change because the first version wasn't that accurate - if she was almost passed out drunk, maybe her recollection isn't that clear.
