Very harsh punishment is due here. It also would be interesting to have some reporters dig into her background and find out who her friends are because it's difficult to believe they didn't know about this.

What's truly sad are the permissive immigration policies that contribute to trafficking. With more restrictive immigration policies and more detailed questioning of immigrants by immigration authorities comes a marked decline in human trafficking.

Interestingly, the nations that have the least of this type of abuse are lovely places like North Korea, Iran, and Belarus.
