True but it was a crime of passion as they say.. I think he has served enough time. I believe in euthanasia. I believe that there are circumstances when its right.

Truly a sad story all around. Shows the failing of having minimum sentences. There should always be a means for leniency when it fits with common sense.

criminal intent is necessary for it to be murder. I don't believe criminal intent existed in Latimer's case. He did what he did truly out of love for his daughter.
