Here is Biden taking GOP after GOP talking point in a hostile interview. Right or wrong I have yet to see Palin really be held to task in the same manner. She is evasive and amateurish. Even holy Joe Lieberman is thanking god she won't be president day one.

As time goes by and we hear more and more from this lady I have to ask this question:

Why would John McCain destroy his bid to become president by choosing her as a running mate?

OK, first, Crooks and Liars is incredibly partisan and shoyldn't be relied upon for facts, and second, unless I missed something, I couldn't see where she said she wanted to get rid of science anyways.

Crooks is seriously missleading, and she didnt say she wanted to do away with science just stop important research because she didnt feel it was important.

I wish I would have posted the countdown clip without using the crooks website.

The clip still stands on its own though, Palin wants to stop research done with fruit flies, because she thinks that research is useless. When in reality people in the science comunity, notibly PZ Myers feel Palin is completely ignorant when it comes to science research. (Damn it why didnt I goto pharyngula first )

In fact, irony of all ironies, fruit fly research has actually aided in understanding a genetic component or predisposition towards autism.
