Well, okay, Yankee is fine. I take offense to the term Yank though.
I won't call you guys Canucks though, as names liek that (Yankee, Yank, Canuck, Limey, etc.) are stupid as hell.

Well, i guess it's because I've heard it used as a negative connotation mostly.
Stuff like, "you retarded yank" or "you ignorant yank."
I guess that's why, but yankee isn't that bad I don't think.
