It didn't happen in Alberta, Ruez. It only matters if it's Alberta's Oil industry.

Sure, if we can prevent needless animal deaths we should. As the good Dr has pointed out though it didn't happen in Alberta.

I just hope they have the chance to fix up any ducks like this, get them back in good health, and release them to the wild in time for hunting season.

Meanwhile . . humans wait months to see specialists for painful conditions.

I think the silence is less that it wasn't in Alberta and more that it wasn't the first such incident. But this case is in some ways worse, as they were relying on the site staying dry to mitigate its toxicity, it wasn't just a case of active measures being late in installation. It's folly to think that mother nature will behave in a predictable way.

If you fell in one of these ponds, I'm sure you'd get treated PDQ too...

Most certainly, just commenting on the absurdity of ducks getting the Rock-Star jet treatment, but humans are left to suffer. We know who's side Greenpeace is on. ;)
