That was the same reaction and the same bill that the Martin government came up with when the Bernardo movie was being discussed. In fact, this bill is almost word for word what the martin government never got a chance to enact.
It's a simple matter that if you want public money for a film, you must meet the guidelines, be them set by the Martin/Harper or independant regulators.
I don't want EITHER'S "independant [
sic] regulators" deciding what's in good taste. Art is art. Provide funding to all, or none. Don't foist your tastes on everyone.
