Can you imagine someone dropping bombs on your homeland and then not killing them when given a chance? Allowing them to return to do more bombing of your families and friends?

Its hard, however, not everyone were cold hearted killers in Nazi Germany, I think it relates to like the honor pilots have with one another (see that Flyboys WWI movie). There's no honor in killing a defenseless person
