Ecstatic to see all these investments being made into the Canadian Aerospace Industry.

Good deal.

I wonder if Winnipegs new airport expansion has something to do with this?

Maybe Winnipeger can fill us in.

Doubt it Ziggy. Winnipeg is home to Boeing Technology, Bristol Aerospace and Standard Aero Ltd, all major players in the aerospace industry. The C-17 deal with Boeing and the C130J deal with Lockheed specified those companies would match monies spent by the government to buy the planes in work contracts/investments with canadian companies.

Winnipeg has always been a major player in the aerospace industry in Canada, that's why they chosen, I don't think it was because of the airport.

This is a good thing though, lots of money being pumped into the economy
