You pussies...

Aw, muffin, is your super-thin, stylish, not-made-for-winter coat not warm enough for you?

Gee, that -15C without windchill must be a bitch. And I can't even begin to imagine the horror of dealing with five inches of snow...

Hell dude, they should come to Ottawa. Water actually freezes in this city and five inches of snow is no trouble for us.

Sorry, did not read the article before posting.

Putting homelessness aside, since it's no joking matter.

But people in TO really do not know what real cold is all about. Heck, even -1 here is considered extreme cold according to the locals

How Canadian of you! Lets compare who is colder.

Let me know when you finish tearing downing Toronto for being not cold enough for you, or is it just Torontonians at are just too cool for you? i am sure the homeless don't wear stylish coats bare legs and strappy sandles because they wanted to look cool. Isn't that what this article was about anyways?

Actually, they're warmed by the hot chocolate and coffee I buy them when it's actually cold outside.

Ottawa doesn't have people to pick the homeless off the street when it gets cold. I've seen homeless guys leaning against newsstands, covered in snow, and it's -22 without the windchill. And yet, they survive in much harsher conditions than those of Toronto.

Sorry if my dry, sarcastic openness offends you. After all, I learnt it from you.

Nice try, you just told a few thousand homeless to suck it up because it's not that cold. What a humanitarian.

The article is about the cold and the homeless. They are both tied together. I'm choosing to focus on the "cold" part.

In terms of homelessness, I know first hand about that since shitty family conditions and drugs have led nearly all of my friends to a life of homelessness and rehab.

I'll come down on Toronto and it's chilliness all I want, especially when I see former classmates actually freezing and dying on the streets of Ottawa.

And you piss on Liberals because their mindset doesn't conform to your own. What a nice guy.

Anything below zero is cold when you're homeless.

True enough, but "cold" is still largely subjective...

And yeah, Torontonians are wusses.
