Pretty sure someone will challenge it. Sort of discriminatory to only allow armed people to work at that school. The handicapped are just as capable educators.

After Sandy Hook, too many loons of the Columbine variety, and then the rash of Muslim shootings there just isn't any alternative anymore. None of the NRA's pedantic "good guy with a gun" fantasizing, just more that maybe a teacher with a gun will be the only thing to save some kids the next time some stir-fried brain of the Lanza or Loughner variety kicks the door in.

I do not like this world but certain realities, especially in the US where things are coming apart at the seams, have to be acknowledged. Better to be with and never have to use it than to be without and have a moment when it's desperately needed. I hate this.

I dunno. If we had a populace as paranoid and gun crazy as the States we'd have more incidents like what happened to that Boushie kid. These incidents are rare because unlike the Americans we haven't created a seige mentality.
