$1: An article originally published at the Denver Post on Friday cited a classmate who described Karl Pierson, the alleged Arapahoe High School shooter, as a "very opinionated Socialist." But the paper edited the article since it was first published, scrubbing the reference to socialism, Twitchy reported Saturday, citing a post at Bearing Arms.

Even worse: $1: Even before authorities named the gunman, friends and neighbors were in shock as word spread that Pierson was a dedicated, bright student from a religious family that attends Bible study meetings. Gosh! Must have been reading Pope Francis' latest Marxist screed when he finally popped his cork.

I'd blame Marilyn Manson too, but there's no evidence that this kid was listening to him. Or that anyone else is still listening to him these days. Or that Marilyn even has a recording contract anymore.

Nice to know that he was a principled maniac, anyway.

I think Pierson described himself as Keynesian in a Facebook post, didn't he?
After the shooting the Denver Post was interviewing classmates. One described him as "a very opinionated Socialist".
Who's guilty of "revisionism" there? The two comments were not connected.
In the article you'll find another Facebook post suggesting he's anti-gun. Well, he's against guns for Republicans, at least. Apparently he's pro-gun for himself.
I read somewhere else somebody was saying Pierson was mad at a teacher for pulling him off the debating team.

I don't get it. You mean there's not leftist Christians? It sounds like you're saying if you come from a religious family you can't be a leftist. Is that what you're saying? I feel more confused than desperate. I get that you want to be insulting, but is there a point buried in there, somewhere? What exactly are you trying to say?

Me? What did I revise? I posted an update to the story I posted when I learned the Denver Post had edited out a pertinent detail from their original article. I don't think I revised, so much as completed. Perhaps you mean the Denver post was revising by editing pertinent details. Is that what you mean? OK, maybe technically. Maybe technically an updater is a reviser, but that's not really what you meant when you said revisionist, is it? C'mon now. Be honest. You meant 'those damn righties are revising the history of ideologies so a socialist is Keynesian, or a Keynesian is a socialist, or something like that', right? I didn't say that, but what makes you so angry about the possibility a Socialist could be pro-Keynes anyway? Is Wikipedia revisionist? Because it says this... $1: Non-revolutionary socialists were inspired by the writings of John Stuart Mill, and later John Maynard Keynes and the Keynesians, who provided theoretical justification for state involvement in existing market economies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socialist_economics
