Restructuring by exporting all of the jobs to Thailand... globalization at its finest.

You're an idiot.

The reason the plant is closing is in the story:

$1:
Almost all traditional cereal makers are facing a declines in sales, as more Canadians choose breakfast meals such as shakes and cereal bars over pouring a bowl of cereal. As a result, the London plant has produced less of their 27 different varieties of cereal every year.

Public_Domain Public_Domain:
I'm pretty partial to a good bowl of cereal. A "breakfast bar" is a nice way to stave off hunger for about 10 minutes.

I'm willing to keep the Nestle company afloat by sales of Shreddies alone.

Plain old oatmeal does it for me.

Ditto. Brown beans on toast, refried beans on toast. But since Tricks gave up his little secret, my staple has been steel cut oatmeal.

I haven't had Kellogs Sugar Frosted Chocolate Bombs in decades.

Mentioned in the article was also the tidbit about the cereal bar plant being closed down in australia so as to boost production in Thailand.

we`re sending all our jobs their way, so why the hell do we keep letting more wogs in here? Unless they`re going to create jobs for Canadians, the doors should stay locked.

What is it with people over 50? Do you not have tastebuds?

I could just mulch up some pencil shavings and wood glue to get the same effect..

Anyone who consumes less than two cups of sugar in their breakfast meal is obviously just wrong, ;)

To be honest I do add dried cranberries to the mix. Sometimes I get crazy and add diced apples, too.

Excuse me, the Thais are not 'wogs', but the Pakis are 8) . Last I checked the Thais are wholly absent a derogatory epithet and, IMHO, this speaks rather well of them in the general global sense.
