Women sheesh. [huh]

Everyone knows that a Black and Decker orbital sander with 20 grit sandpaper works 100% better than microbeads for cleaning the makeup off your face.

Pumice doesn't have the 'techno' cachet of 'advanced microbead technology'. :|

But with a Porter Cable 7424, it will remove makeup fairly well.

I think those microbeads should be banned. Just my 2 cents.

Obviously plastic is cheaper than pumice, or ground up coconut shell or anything natural.
CHEAPEST - the ruling factor in producing anything in business these days. It's probably illegal to even think of the results of applying the cheapest solution to anything.

It's a round-about way of disposing of trillions of plastic containers ... turn them into magic beads and flush them away.

Yep, that's the same reason Coca-Cola uses high fructose corn syrup instead of sugar nowadays.

Same goes for every other Western company out there - short term profits is the only thing that matters now. Who gives a crap if the planet will be unlivable in 100 years as long as CEOs and executives get their annual bonuses.
