"Under the Justice Department policy, a person must tell security officers they have a kirpan and wear it in a sheath, under clothing."

WTF??? A friend of mine did 6 mos for carrying a concealed weapon. And he wasn't trying to enter a court house!

Last year I went to the Edmonton court house and I was given a choice regarding my pocket knife. " Either go put it in your car, or we will confiscate it right here".

I've decided to start a religion where all adherents have to wear a Holy .45 in a proper hip holster. This is so that they're always ready to do 'spiritual battle' with the forces of evil.

I think I'll also require adherents to wear a funny hat just for the lulz. 8)

Common sense meet window!

I love how we always just seem to have the problem of the above the moment someone brings religion into the picture.

I tossed that idea out a few years ago and had a ton of people lined up to convert and then a police friend of mine informed me that it was never going to happen in Canada. :(

Somewhat off topic, but I think Fallout: New Vegas did something exactly like that with the Mormon Church, but .45 ACP weaponry like the M1911.

As a Christian couldn't you carry a large sword and claim that you knelt before it to commune with God....worked for the Templars and other sworn knights

I could just imagine the conversation later in 'their' coffee room. " Hey Ralph. Look at the cool Swiss Army knife I scored today from some sucker!   "
