ridenrain ridenrain:
Still no details on the Liberals master strategy for that mission?

This is enough off topic stuff for me.

mmmmm beer. [B-o]

As always you con hacks can't answer any questions yourself which is why you are running away and hiding.

Why should Chretien have had an exit strategy? The US didn't.

You just can't answer the whole majority/minority thing eh?

You certainly can no longer blame the Liberals or NDP for the auto bailout. That lies at Harpers feet just as the 30 billion dollar deficit.

Shuffle on hack shuffle on.

Try to follow along simpleton.

By ridens very own logic you cannot hold anybody but Harper for the auto bailout and deficit.

It doesn't matter whether the other parties were for it or against it, Harper is the man who implemented it and therefore the buck stops with him.

30 billion bucks were apparently lost at his feat also.

Thats not a good reason. Just because the US does or does not have or do something does not mean we should. Weak Weak

Oh? Just tell me exactly how Chretien was going to itinerize our involvement from start to finish prior to the invasion especially considering that everybody supporting the mission stated unequivocibly that a pre-set withdrawl date was not only defeatist but helped embolden the enemy?

ziggy ziggy:
Someone leaves a bar drunk, kills someone in a car accident, guess who's going to be liable? The person at the last bar that served him will be.

The Supreme Court ruled on this very issue last year. Hosts do NOT owe a duty of care to people who are injured as a result of a drunk leaving their place.

Childs v. Desormeaux, 2006 SCC 18

This case was one of a private party host, not a bar, but it set the precedent. Presumably, should a bar owner or server have a similar tort action brought against them, their case would be dismissed on the precedent set in Childs v. Desormeaux. Now, if the DRINKER is the one injured (rather than a 3rd party), that would further complicate the matter.

I'm not say that he should have had a plan, I'm saying that it is fault logic to stay that Chretien should or sgould not have done something because the US did the some thing. Based on that logic we should be in Iraq right now. I think we can make our own decisions.

Actually they did. The initial deployment was planned to last until 2003. After that subsequent dates were set.

Just like Iraq everybody thought they were going to be welcomed as liberators.

ridenhack is just spinning pure nonsense as a means to slander the Libs. Chretien did not commit troops to a never ending war.

BTW, I suppose "until the job is done" doesn't count as an exit strategy?
