I know you are for capital punishment and so am I, just to put it out there a well executed ( no pun intended ) beheading is the one of the most swift and I assume most painless way to carry it out, might not be pleasant for the people watching but for the condemned literally takes a fraction of a second, if I dare to say ... more humane than all the non sense you guys have been trying in the last century. including the current one of lethal injections which can sometimes take close to half an hour and need I post that list of botched and extremely horrific botched executions again of how the condemned have suffered at the gurney, in the gas chamber or the chair. Some so painful the convict had to put themselves out of their own misery.

Having said that I have to say that I DNOT agree with the frequency of which they are carried out and on most occasions the BS charges levied against the condemned in Saudi. I would also got out as far as to say that for some a beheading is a too easy way to go and should be put on ol sparky and let them cook until well done.

And I see fiddly is really making good use of his Becker education, having latched on a few buzzwords, probably heard them in some youtube rant and now he is the ultimate expert in all things muzzie.

Yet you say you agree with what I posted about moderate Muslims. Which is it? If all you harp about is that some Muslims do awful things, you're just pushing people to see all Muslims as the enemy. And a lot of what you and your buddies come up with is actually Muslims doing awful things to each other or to animals. If there is a terror attack perpetrated against us, of course we're going to talk about it. But just dredging up what some backward people do, when that's a minority of Muslims is just stupid.

Here is what I believe. Tell me which part you do not believe is factual.

How to tell radicalized from non-radicalized I'm not sure, but better to judge who's who, and what the danger is with steely eyed discernment, than with eyes shut.

Who was more extreme btw, Neville Chamberlain or Churchill? With 21st century judgment of what's extreme I might answer Churchill. I think the more common answer in the latter half of the 20th century would be Chamberlain. Nevertheless, does it matter. Knowing what we now know, which was the right horse to back?

So, if they are not responding to distant atrocities, what are they responding to? Are they responding to western intervention, both economic and military? Are they responding to support of a very hostile country in their midst - a foreign supported Cuba in their midst with a hell of a lot more capability?

Or is it because they hate our freedom?

I would lean towards western intervention mostly along the lines of economic. The west be it Europe or the US have exploited their countries over the decades sense WWI. Be it England’s setting up oil fields and infrastructure then demanding huge discount on the oil. France setting up trade agreements that heavily favored them and hurt the ME countries. The US setting up proxy gov. to get huge breaks on oil purchases. The people in the ME have pretty much gotten fed up of being exploited. Yet at the same time they want the money from the west to keep flowing in and in the case of the Gulf War they want the West to fight in their battles.
