if the people that apreciate an art are too cheap to fund it, then that art deserves to be underfunded.

Tories, pathetic losers that they are, the epitome of rank hypocrisy. They funded the toronto gay pride week to the tune of $400,000, why dont they cough up now??

Maybe because they ALREADY funded the gay pride parade to the tune of $400,00. They got enough funding for one year.

If gay people pay taxes and there are grants for stuff like this than their sexual orientation should have no bearing on the issue.

And if gay people don't have to pay taxes, well where do I sign up?

Just when you had your hand in the cookie jar, you take your hand out and steal the entire jar.

It's the term you use when you happen to be a homosexual and you want more funding from the government.

Otherwise, most just call it "art".

if we are supposed to replace 'same sex marriage' with 'marriage'.....then shouldn't we replace 'gay art' with 'art'?

lets have the government issue a new definition for 'art'

What are the sematics on this one?

I thought that any "marriage" performed outside of church was called a civil union.
I know that in Québec, this is the case and both are equivalent in the eyes of the law.
I don't believe that any "church" does same sex marriages, although I may be wrong.

The United and Anglican Churches(although it is threatening to divide them both) bless same sex unions.
