Has anybody said:

They Told Him Don't You Ever Come Around Here
Don't Wanna See Your Face, You Better Disappear
The Fire's In Their Eyes when the Playground's Pretty Near
So Beat It, Just Beat It

You Better Run, You Better Do What You Can
Don't Wanna See No Blood, Don't Have a Heart Attack
You Wanna Be Tough, Better Take Some Blood Thinners
So Beat It, But You Wanna Be White

Just Beat It, Beat It, Beat It, Beat It
No One Wants To Be Defeated
By a Myocardial Infarction
It Doesn't Matter Who's Working the Paddles
Just Beat It, Beat It
Just Beat It, Beat It
Just Beat It, Beat It
Just Beat It, Beat It

They're Out To Get You, Better Leave While You Can
Don't Wanna Be A Boy, You Wanna Be A Man
You Wanna Stay Alive, Better eat a bottle of Aspirin,
So Beat It, Just Beat It

You Have To Show Them That You're Really Not Having a massive pain shoot down your left arm
You're Playin' With Your Life, George Clooney ain't anywhere
They'll Kick You, Then They Beat You,
Then They'll Tell You It's HMO Policy
So Beat It, But You Wanna Be Bad

Just Beat It, Beat It, Beat It, Beat It
No One Wants To Be Defeated
By a Myocardial Infarction
It Doesn't Matter Who's Working the Paddles

That's about 9 1/2 mins of time that could be better spent contemplating ones own navel, or even picking their noses, that no one here is likely to waste on any 'ped'!

Neil Armstrong walked on the moon and Michael Jackson buggared young boys.

Quite a shock when I heard that on the radio this afternoon. DJ said it happened 10 minutes ago when they first reported it, then about a half hour later confirmed it. Wow. In a way I'm suprised he made it to 50, considering he seems to have had alot of health issues.

I agree with Tattooed Girl's comments on how "we" put entertainers up on a pedestal and at times like these forget the negative parts. Thriller was an amazing video when it came out, I remember muchmusic (or was it MTV?) playing over and over for quite awhile. He hit the big time with that album, that video and new dance moves. Though I can't say I was ever a fan of his I know many people were and he certainly made his mark in the music industry. However the dark side of him was quite disturbing. He changed so much when the fame hit him. That whole fan worshiping thing is kinda twisted to me. It's one thing to admire a person's ability to perform/act/sing and be entertained by it, it's another to worship that person for it and see only that part of them and not the whole person.

My condolences to his family though, death in the family is always a tough thing to deal with, the death of someone like him...the funeral is going to be a circus of media, pretty shitty for them to have to deal with.

Jackson was a gifted showman and a performer. He was no musical genius. Lennon, Elton John, Prince, Dylan and Hendrix were musical geniuses

Three of 'em ARE geniuses...and that list must contain Townshend and Waters. Joe Jackson, hell, even Alan Jackson, ranks higher on the list of musical geniuses than Michael Jackson.

The word genius and the name Michael Jackson should never be used in the same sentence. He's no genius in any way, shape or form.

RUEZ RUEZ:
TattoodGirl TattoodGirl:
Oh sorry bout that...Ya it is interesting. Everyone praising him and his greatness. Ok he did alot in the Music industry, but does that negate the lifestyle outside of it. I will give condolences only where condolences are due.

I just heard a caller on CNN say that out of respect for him, his fans, and his family, his court dealings should not be mentioned. What a load of BS. I know he wasn't convicted of anything but he did pay a family 30 million to keep quiet. Thats more than enough for me to be suspicious. I respect his music, that is all. He was a twisted troubled person otherwise.

Let's see him 'buy his way out' of his current predicament eh!
