that is going to be brutally cold for some, there usually isnt enough beds to go around. we open up the extra shelter beds at 0, we have the wet/cold weather beds open in the fall, but when it gets extreme for us, thats when churches, community centres, etc. open. But we still do the walk throughs checking for life, because not everyone can be housed

The cold weather alert annouced and the entire article are precisely in regard to the homeless, smart guy:

wind chill warning for outdoor activity for people in the Toronto area;
extreme weather conditions, such as a blizzard or ice storm.

Get it? It's not "muffin" with their "super-thin, stylish, not-made-for-winter coat" that's being warned.

The only reason any concern for the weather in Toronto is raised whatsoever is for the homeless, so your "bitching" is entirely uncalled for.
