Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
I still have a question.
Should I still be allowed to have an RPG if I'm "responsible", if I've taken the 'proper training', and if I promise to keep it a foot higher than my depressed suicidal nephew can reach?
Because I should be allowed to have an RPG if I'm 'responsible' and I just want mah RPG because it sure is purdy.
Let me rephrase that: Should I be banned from owning an RPG if I have no criminal record, am mentally stable, trained in its proper use, only use it responsibly and keep it secure? Citizens in a free state should not have to demonstrate why the need something to the government, the government should demonstrate why it is necessary to prevent someone from doing something.
Here is a challenge I have for you and those who agree with you: explain why is it
necessary to ban civilians from owning automatic firearms? I've seen plenty of posts saying its not necessary for a civilian to own a automatic but that doesn't really address the issue. There are hundreds of thousands of legal but unnecessary things, why should firearms be treated differently?
Something to consider a M203 40mm grenade launcher is legal in Canada as it is classified as a flare gun, its the frag grenade is illegal.
$1:
How about if I give it a name like a gun owner would?
Name it "Beatrice"...
As long as you use it responsibly I don't care.
